The Mayan culture, rich in symbolism and tradition, has bequeathed to the world a series of ancestral practices and knowledge that continue to amaze scholars and tourists alike. In Mayan culture, the muul is a mound structure, generally built with earth and stones. Although at first glance it may seem like a simple elevation of the ground, its meaning goes much further.<\/span><\/p>

The muul were erected for ceremonial, funerary and astronomical purposes, and were carefully aligned according to the cardinal points or certain astronomical phenomena.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This process not only reflected the technical skill of the Maya, but also their ability to organize and mobilize large groups of people for a common purpose.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
